Trim Levels

The 2020 Honda CR-V is offered in four trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring. The LX trim is not your average base model, as it comes standard with great features like 17-inch alloy wheels, a fold-down 60/40-split rear seat, automatic climate control, power exterior mirrors, a USB port, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, and a 160-watt audio system with four speakers. For just the next trim up, the EX trim sees some big upgrades: a moonroof, a 12-way power adjustable driver's seat, smart entry with walk-away auto lock, remote start, heated power side mirrors with integrated turn indicators, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM and HD radio, and an 180-watt audio system with six speakers. The EX-L adds leather-trimmed seating, a power tailgate, power-adjustable seating, an automatic-dimming rearview mirror, the HomeLink remote system, and a couple more speakers. Finally, the top-tier Touring trim gets 19-inch alloy wheels, a hands-free access power tailgate, a heated steering wheel, a navigation system, automatic LED headlights, roof rails, rain-sensing windshield wipers, ambient lighting, and a 330-watt premium audio system with nine speakers.

Mechanical Features

All 2020 Honda CR-V trims have the same powertrain: a 190-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with a continuously variable transmission. This powertrain also gets fine fuel economy, delivering an EPA-estimated 28 mpg city and 36 mpg highway, for a combined average of 32 mpg. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available.

All 2020 Honda CR-V models come standard with more advanced safety and driver-assistive features than ever before. Even the base trim gets Honda Sensing, the package of driver-aid technologies that includes forward collision warning, a collision mitigation braking system, a road departure mitigation system, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, and auto high-beams. The EX trim and up also get a blind spot monitoring system with rear cross-traffic monitor.
