Maintenance Minder System

The Honda Maintenance Minder System

Your Honda displays engine oil life and maintenance service items on the information display to show you when you should have us perform engine oil replacement and indicated maintenance service.  Based on the engine operating conditions and accumulated engine revolutions, the onboard computer in your vehicle calculates the remaining engine oil life and displays it as a percentage.

Along with your engine oil life being displayed, there is also a letter and sometimes a number displayed.  This letter/number combination is your specific maintenance code that your car is telling you needs to be done.  The main code is a letter; "A" or "B".  The number that appears after the letter is the sub-code; "1", "2", "3", "4", "5", or "6".
