Check out our New Honda Accord Inventory!!!
The
Honda Accord vehicle lineup is truly committed to offering a complete package of
vehicles that would meet the needs of modern drivers without having to drill a
hole in the consumers' pockets. But the 2011 Honda Accord is taking a different
route, albeit a more practical one by delivering a vehicle model that is suited
for daily transportation with its no-nonsense approach to designing. For this model year, there are some significant changes to the Accord lineup, and all models have gotten a facelift. A new value-priced 2011 Accord SE model features
heated leather seating in otherwise base trim. But the biggest news is the new
Crosstour. The Crosstour
seats five, it offers simliar dynamics as the Accord sedan, along with larger interior room. Unlike
other Accord models, the Crosstour is available with all-wheel drive.
The inside of the 2011 Accord sedan is spacious for its class. The materials are on par with this price class, and the layout of controls, and the dashboard make sense. Everything seems to be in the right spot. In another words, the 2011 Accord is easy to live with. LX models step up the interior with nicer materials, and a variety of storage areas for modern conveniences. The new Accord SE model adds leather upholstery and heated seats, but the basics like seat design and driver ergonomics are shared by all models.
For 2011, Accord EX-L V6 models add two-position memory for the driver's seat.
Accord coupes make use of their longer front door panels by adding a return
sweep and pull handle to the armrest trim.
Finding the right driving position is easy with the standard tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, which provides a good range
of adjustment and compliments the driver's seat movement. The shifter is right at hand, and the
proper handbrake has short travel.
There is a wide variety of engine choices and models available on the 2011 Accord. All-wheel drive is even available on the Crosstour. According to Honda, there are 26 different models or trim levels in the Accord line. The base model is called the LX and comes with a 160-watt sound system with single CD and an auxiliary jack, and power mirrors. The LX-P Sedan is the mid trim level. This model comes with a power driver's seat, alloy wheels, a security system and a chrome tailpipe, and illuminated power window switches with express up/down for the front passenger.
The upper trim level in the Accord lineup is the EX. It ads driver's power-lumbar support, heated front seats,
and leather The Accord EX Sedan gets a
higher-revving, 190-horsepower version of the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine,
with standard 5-speed manual and no leather. For 2011, EX models add a USB audio
connector to the stereo. The Accord EX-L and EX-L V6
Sedan add leather on the seats and steering wheel, while the four-cylinder EX-L
comes standard with the automatic transmission.
The
Honda Accord comes as a four-door sedan, two-door coupe or Crosstour
wagon/crossover. All variants are big on style, whether that means getting the
most from a gallon of gas, delivering the most interior space for the exterior
dimensions or providing a smooth, quiet ride and high level of crash protection
with the least weight. Accord offers a range of four- and six-cylinder engines,
with extra cargo capacity and optional all-wheel-drive in the Crosstour.
Every Accord is easy to operate, well-engineered and well-mannered. Moving four
people comfortably or enjoying the long way home, any Accord is up to the task. For
